Egg and Broccoli Breakfast
This is simple beyond reason but it's one of my favorite breakfasts, it's one of the first things I started cooking when I started making changes. It's fast and tastes like a well rounded meal, and did I mention simple?
Broccoli and Egg Breakfast
1 head broccoli
1- 2 Tbsp. Fat (butter, bacon drillings, oil)
Salt
Pepper or garlic, optional
Fried eggs
Slice the broccoli straight down. I like the slice it, not section it to florets, it has more flat space and helps it brown better.
Heat the oil in a pan on high heat and add the broccoli. Leave it, without stirring, for several minutes. Add salt, and pepper or garlic if using, and stir infrequently, until it's browned and cooked.
Top with a cooked egg and enjoy!
